Crop Circles logo appears on Google homepage

Google has changed the logo on their homepage once again. It is now featuring a logo linking to search results for Crop Circles. The Google logo also has all circles in every letter, except for the letter “l”.
The URL of the image points to http://www.google.com/logos/goog_e.gif with a missing “l”. Last time Google’s logo linked to results for “unexplained phenomenon” and their logo and URL both had an “O” missing. A post in the Google Korea Blog says that their will be 3 logos total to celebrate a famous person. The Crop Circles is the second logo.
The hints posted on the Google Korea blog included: “mystery, transparency, and novel”. Which famous person is Google celebrating with their logos? If you’ve figured anything out, feel free to share with us in the comments.

Sept 21 is H G Wells birthday. He lived at Horsell Moor, near the lat/long given with the second Google UFO “clue”. In the War of the Worlds, the martians land at Horsell Moor.

If they were going to go through all this trouble just to spell out “LOL”, surely they would have done the crop circle first, and then the UFO one, so that they would so far have “LO” as opposed to “OL” …

the L is there, there is a green ball on top of it.
The “l” is there it’s the private drive up to the lol green farm house…the guy who said green ball needs glasses, and plus it’s crop circles why would there be a giant green ball in a field??
Anyways ya the l is there, it’s just hard to see
Actually it looks more like a combine than a farmhouse and would make more since that it was out in the middle of the field.
