T-Mobile G2 is the name of the successor to the first Android phone: T-Mobile G1. The T-Mobile G2 will run on 4G speeds using T-Mobile’s new HSPA+ network.

Not much details have been released about the T-Mobile G2 smartphone yet, but if you’re an Android user you will want to go to T-Mobile’s teaser site here and sign up to receive updates.

The T-Mobile website says that they will be releasing more information in the coming weeks, so stay tuned! The T-Mobile G2 teaser website must be getting a flood of traffic because the images don’t appear to be loading now, but you can still sign up for updates.

Over the weekend a lot of information about the upcoming Google Phone, the Nexus One was discovered. Today Engadget has got some quality photos of the Nexus One and more details about it. Their photos revealed the following:

• Nexus One can run on T-Mobile
• Nexus One will have the Android 2.1 operating system
• There is a QR code on the back of the Nexus One
• There is no HTC logo on the Nexus One

Pictured above is a photo of the Nexus One running on Android 2.1. What’s different about this is that it has an animated wallpaper in the background, and if you look near the bottom you’ll see a screenshot of all the current open windows. Android 2.1 has a new way of managing multiple apps, similar to the way Palm uses cards in their webOS.
