The DevTeam has released yellowsn0w, the world’s first iPhone 3G unlock. You must upgrade to the latest baseband 02.28 in order to use it. It is possible to use it with the older baseband on firmware 02.27 but the DevTeam has exclusively restricted it to work with the newest baseband.
