    Today Verizon announced in a press release that the HTC Touch Pro 2 will be available online at www.verizonwireless.com and in stores on Friday, September 11. The price is $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and a 2-year contract. The HTC Touch Pro 2 will be available in Black.

    The phone uses Windows Mobile. Key features of Verizon’s HTC Touch Pro 2 include a 3.6 inch touch screen, QWERTY  keyboard, 3.2 megapixel camera, TouchFLO 3D interface, 512 MB ROM, Qualcomm 528 MHz processor,  and WiFi. You can read the full specs at Verizon’s press release page.

    • ]]>     According to a document a tipster sent to Phone Arena, Sprint’s Samsung Instinct s50 smartphone will be launching on Thursday, September 3. Not much information has been revealed about the Instinct S50, but we’ll keep you updated as more details of the Instinct S50 emerge.
