    • ]]>     Earlier today I made a post about the new Google Doodle logo Google placed on their homepage and how it didn’t appear on the mobile version of Google. Hans Christian ØrstedThe logo was created to recognize the birthday of Hans Christian Ørsted. Judging by the comments a lot of people thought the new Google logo was a bomb, but it is not! The Google logo has wires passing electric current to make the compass work. Hans Christian Ørsted was a great physicist who discovered electromagnetism and was also the first to produce aluminum. You can find out more about Ørsted by clicking the Google logo on the main page. Were you one of the ones who thought this was a bomb? At least now you’ve learned that it’s not!

    • ]]>     While I was browsing Google today I noticed Google had a new logo (also known as a Google Doodle) on their homepage. They made this logo to recognize hans-christian-c3b8rstedthe birthday of Hans Christian Ørsted. Ørsted was a physicist, chemist, and also a poet, but he was best known for his discovery of electromagnetism. If you want you can find out more about Hans Christian Ørsted you can go to the Google homepage and click the logo.

    I wanted to make this post here to make a suggestion to Google (if anyone from Google is reading this). In the future, please make the Google Doodle logo’s available on the mobile versions of Google as well! I was visiting Google on my iPhone and the Google Doodle logo did not appear there. I had to view Google in “Classic” mode to see the logo.

    Update: Many people seem to be confusing Hans Christian Ørsted with Hans Christian Andersen. Ørsted is a scientist and Andersen is a novelist.
