I was amazed to see The Flintstones on the logo on Google.com today. It is the 50th Anniversary of The Flintstones, and to celebrate Google has created a Google Doodle of The Flintstones. A Google Doodle, for those who don’t know what it is, is whenever Google changes the logo on their homepage to celebrate a special event. Clicking the Google logo reveals search results for “The Flintstones”.

As a kid, I used to watch The Flintstones and really enjoyed that cartoon. It’s good to see Google celebrate the 50th birthday of The Flintstones and re-design their logo. You can see a Wikipedia entry of The Flintstones here, if you’ve never heard of this cartoon.

Some interesting facts about The Flintstones include that it was originally known as The Flagstones, and then it was known as The Gladstones, and then finally it got it’s name The Flintstones. The Flintstones was the ninth best Top 100 Animated TV Shows on IGN (January 2009). Read more about this at telegraph.co.uk.

Today Google has decided to celebrate a famous person’s birthday by adding a new Google Doodle. The Google Doodle is crop circles. Clicking on the Google logo will take you to the search results for this term.

Just like the previous logo on September 5, Google has decided to tweet and change their logo and add another UFO image on it again. All we know is that they want us to figure out what it is that they are trying to tell us in the logo. The hints posted on the Korea blog include: mystery, transparency, and novel.

Can you figure out the mystery behind Google’s logo? If not then you might just find out when Google reveals their third and final logo (according to the Google Korea blog).

Today Google linked to search results for Unexplained Phenomenon, and they even posted a twitter message with a cryptic message: “All your O are belong to us”. Hans posted it on QuickPWN earlier, but we didn’t know why Google had this logo on their front page. Some people thought it was because of the District 9 movie, but that’s not true.

After doing some further research, I’ve figured out that Google is doing this because today is the Exeter UFO Festival in New Hampshire. There is no need to create any silly stories or jump to any conclusions. Google loves to celebrate special days by creating custom logos, called Google Doodle logos. Before this post, what did you think this Google logo was about?

Michael Jackson died of cardiac arrest on June 25, and just yesterday his death was ruled as a homicide due to intoxication by anaesthetic. His remains were originally scheduled to be buried today at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale but it got rescheduled to be buried on September 3.

Just two days ago, Europe’s Broadcast company, RTL made a hoax video claiming that Michael Jackson was still alive. People started making up their own conspiracy theories, and some even believed it. RTL later admitted that it was a hoax in a press release.

While I was browsing Google today I noticed Google had a new logo (also known as a Google Doodle) on their homepage. They made this logo to recognize the birthday of Hans Christian Ørsted. Ørsted was a physicist, chemist, and also a poet, but he was best known for his discovery of electromagnetism. If you want you can find out more about Hans Christian Ørsted you can go to the Google homepage and click the logo.

I wanted to make this post here to make a suggestion to Google (if anyone from Google is reading this). In the future, please make the Google Doodle logo’s available on the mobile versions of Google as well! I was visiting Google on my iPhone and the Google Doodle logo did not appear there. I had to view Google in “Classic” mode to see the logo.
