iPad for Businesses

The demand for iPads have clearly been high and greater than expected for businesses. There are many companies and employers which are buying the Apple tablet in order to use it for communication and mobile productivity in the workplace. Jim Turner from Hiltop Consultants is a provider of IT services to law firms and companies in D.C. Turner recently bought 15 iPads which he will be using for checking e-mail, taking notes, and setting up client computer systems.

The iPad which includes games, entertainment, video player, digital book reader, and etc. is not just for fun and games. In fact, many companies and employees are buying this technology for business-related communications and keeping their employees productive while they are on-the-go. According to Charlie Wolf, an analyst at Needham & Co, the iPad plays a vital role in the business market. He states that “The demand appears to be far more diverse than I originally expected.”

In a survey conducted by Zogby international, more than half mobile users preferred to use a tablet device such as the iPad for working outside the office according to Sybase a mobile software maker. Apple’s chief Executive, Steve Jobs and officials in the company have not of now ruled out the prospect customers would use for business relations. Although, Apple has also created an iPad version of its iWork suite with productivity applications including: Pages, a word processing program; Numbers, a spreadsheet program; and Keynote, a presentation application which is similar to PowerPoint.

What will Apple be announcing in their Apple Come see our latest creation live event? We know for sure that there will be an Apple tablet that will be announced. Many people believe that it will be called either the iSlate, iTablet, iPad, or Mac Tablet. iPhone OS 4.0 is also expected to be released for iPhone and iPod touch users, and the big thing about this is that it will support multi-tasking. There are also rumors of Apple launching a new Verizon iPhone 4G.

In about an hour from now, Apple will be starting their January 27, 2010 Come See Our Latest Creation live event. This event is being held in the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater at 10 AM PST /1 PM EST time. For a while now, many people have been speculating that the Apple has been working on an Apple Tablet, and that they will be announcing it today. Today we will find out whether or no the rumor is true.

Apple Tablet confirmed before official Apple Tablet announcement

Up until now, a lot of tech blogs have been spreading rumors about Apple launching an Apple Tablet. No evidence had been found until today when Terry McGraw, CEO of McGraw-Hill told a CNBC reporter that Apple has been working with McGraw-Hill for some time now and they are going to be announcing the Apple Tablet tomorrow.

Terry McGraw also said that the Apple Tablet will run on Apple’s iPhone operating system that currently is being used on the iPhone and iPod touch and it will also have eBooks from McGraw-Hill on there. Looks like our source was partially right when he said that the Apple Tablet is an eBook reader and it runs on the iPhone OS. I’m a bit skeptical about Terry McGraw accidentally leaking this information, because I think Apple purposely wanted McGraw-Hill to leak this information. It’s already caused a lot of buzz on the web, and many people are now talking about it as well.

Tomorrow is the day Apple is expected to be announcing a new tablet product which many people refer to as the Apple Tablet, iSlate, iPad, Mac Tablet, or iGuide. Of course, these are all rumors and Apple has not even said a word about them launching any Apple tablet. Any rumors about Apple spread really fast, and the tablet rumor is no exception.

The keyword “Apple Tablet” is trending on both Google and Twitter as of right now. The Apple Tablet is the most hyped Apple product based on rumors. I haven’t got my hopes for for an Apple tablet because I don’t need one when I already have a powerful laptop, but I hope that Apple will instead announce a new Verizon iPhone 4G tomorrow.

On January 27, Apple is holding a special event where they are expected to be announcing a new product, which most people think is an Apple Tablet. Apple hasn’t confirmed or denied any of the rumors about the Apple Tablet, but we have 5 rumors here that other sites were afraid to post.

iPhone 4G Specs

1. You don’t buy the Apple Tablet, it buys you.

This first rumor comes from a reliable source of ours, Chuck Norris.

2. The Apple Tablet is very SHINY, and expensive too.

Even though the Apple Tablet is expensive, it is still worth it because of it’s mind-blowing shininess.

3. Apple and Burger King have partnered to launch a BIG contest.

Buy a Double Whopper from Burger King and if you find a Golden ticket in it, you will get a free Apple Tablet and a tour of Apple’s factory.

4. Steve Ballmer already has an Apple Tablet.

He removed the Mac OS software on the Apple Tablet and put Windows Mobile 7 on it.

5. No Copy/Paste because it was REJECTED.

Due to the strict approval process in approving certain software features of the Apple Tablet, copy/paste was rejected by a reviewer. Expect Copy/Paste to be added in a future update.

iSlate is an eBook reader by Apple, not a Tablet

Many rumors of Apple launching an Apple tablet, which is believed to be a large tablet version of the iPhone/iPod touch have been spreading around. The latest rumor suggests that it will be called an iSlate. Our sources have told us that the rumor about Apple launching a product with the iSlate name is true, but the product won’t be an Apple tablet, it will be an eBook reader. The iSlate will be a competitor to the Amazon Kindle, Barnes and Noble Nook and other e-readers that are out there. Our sources have also told us that the iSlate eBook reader will run on Apple’s upcoming iPhone OS 4.0 software and will include a seperate App Store for eBooks. Apple will be announcing the iSlate eBook reader at WWDC 2010, which our sources says is being held on June 7.
