Hi..

After updating the ipone 3G to 3.0 and then jailbraking it with redsnow and ultrasnow.. itunes can not detect the device.. however its dectected by windows

(i got this problem with all my three phones .. tried different cables.. and pcs - win xp)

You may want to try deleting itunes and reloading fresh version of it. Since it's all of your phones, it doesn't sound like a jailbreaking issue...sounds like it may be an itunes issue (especially if your computer sees the phone).

Hi... thanks for the suggestion... the first thing that came to my was the same.. i did it a few times... no use.. i even tried it on two other computers as well... still the same ... any other ideas ...

Hmmmmmmm... all phones? Are all of the phones the same and same Gen? Are they all JB & Unlocked? Check out this post and see if you want to give it a try. iTunes doesn't recognize iPhone after jailbreak and how I fixed it.
