A few days ago I dropped my phone and it stopped recognizing my SIM although it was fully inserted and cleaned. I restored to see if that fixed the problem but now it's stuck on the "slide for emergency" screen and cannot activate because it can't detect the SIM. Says "No SIM card installed. Insert a valid SIM with no PIN lock to activate the iPhone."

I think it's a hardware issue and will need to go to the Apple Store for repair. Since I restored, will they be able to tell that I had jailbroken it?

NO, not if you restored. But how did it restore if it doesn't recognize the Sim Card? I never have the same problem before, so I didn't know you can restore without a Sim(your case is like having no sim)
