hello guys ..i have just upgraded my friend 2g iphone from 1.1.3 to 3.o and then i jailbreak it and then unlocked it using redsnow ....during first time the redsnow stooped working while jailbreak was in process ...then i restored it again using itunes, used redsnow again ,this time everthing went fine and iphone was unlocked ..but it is showing no service ..i tried using another sim in the 2sim though it is showing network status but it is giving callfailed error...i have already upgraded my i phone with redsnow and its working fine...please help me guys i

Which carrier do you have?
Try restoring the phone then activating it through iTunes, then jailbreak.

just got it working...what i did
1. used another pc having xp..earlier i using laptop with vista in it.
2.restored it ,jailbreak it and then unlocked it using redsnow this was the 4time i was unlocking it.
3.as usual no luck this time also ....
4.opened cydia, upgraded packeges competely and then returned to home..after few seconds, i was seeing network status...just to comfirm that it was working fine, i used another sim, it is working fine since then...though my problem is sorted, but i am not sure how it worked....can experts figure it out what was the problem...any way thanks....

It was probaly searching for your service. Or maybe the unlock needs to knowen though cydia before it can work. I'm not that sure cause I don't have an iPhone just can iPod.
