Worked flawless the first time. I didn't have to do it from the cmd promp I just used the .exe from windows. Question, why do I not see the mms option to add pictures in my text messaging? I know AT&T don't support it but Tmobile does. Will this only work on the 3G?

tried this, selected the downloaded 3.0 firmware 7a341, found it ok, followed the instructions, says it completed after holding down power/home buttons in different combinations, then screen went to black screen and thats all that happens. forcing reboot now.

rebooted and not jb'd

Ok make sure that you follow step 8 exactly. You should get it the first time. So try the whole thing again and follow all steps exactly.

Try rebooting it yourself. Hold down the power button until you see the apple icon, then it should load up with the J'b on it.

Same thing happened to me. Got ot the waiting for reboot screen and nothing happened. Tried to manual reboot with power but it didn't work so I held Home + Power for about 10 seconds and it rebooted but without the JB. Any tips?

Thanks.

Second set of instructions in the first post worked flawlessly for me. Had it done in under 15 minutes. (iPhone 3G)

Thanks so much ... used method 2 ... after Step 5 I simply followed to on screen instructions and it worked like a charm on my 3G with 3.0 firmware.
As always ... have a day :|

Any idea on what might be happening here? I can't get past the "Waiting for Reboot" screen, getting frustrated after 5 tries.
