I know that the Mac dmg includes an option to leave the baseband unaltered but I don't know if this one does.

As far as I know, this does nothing to the baseband since it doesn't unlock it, unless you have a 2G

I have a 3G and I assume it's using the latest BB revision as per v2.2.1 since PhaseBaseBand downgrader was having none of it when I tried.

The turbosim I have in there now does work, with the occasionally reset required involving another phone, however the Gevey +2 did not.

Ok, it should work, and if it doesn't you can just restore it in itunes.

Thanks for the step by step directions. I ran into some problems the first couple of times, you just have to make sure that you read line by line, if you do and it does not work, try again. It works and it works good until the QuickPWN comes out.

Ok for people not good with command line, you can just copy the ispw to the same folder and drag and drop it onto the redsn0w.exe file.
