when i try to jail break it it stay stuck on where it says "Waiting..entering Recovery". i once read that you had to change some settings but i forgot what they were. help me please

Hi all...i recently purchased a new iphone 3g 2.2 firware 8 gig. I have been reading all the posts but i would like to confirm few things before i begin my unlocking procedure.
i will release appreciate if you can help me in this regard.

question.
1. what version of quickpwn tool should i use to jailbreak iphane 3g 2.2 firmware?
i know the dev team have come up with new 2.2.5-2 version, but wondering if i should use quickpwn or pwnage tool to jailbreak.

im pretty sure 2.2.5-2 will do.
you got to have 2.2 firmware file (ipsw) as well
i did my 2.2.1 with quickpwn.
jailbreak is easy.

One more question, will i be able to unlock it using the yellowsnow thro cydia once it is jailbroken?
i want to use t-mobile US sim card with this iphone 3g.

Just dropping a line to say that I truly appreciate all of the hard work that is involved with developing jailbreak and unlocking procedures. It worked with no issues and I am the ultimate noob this is my first iphone lol.

glad to hear you have unlocked ur iphone. i am trying to unlock my iphone now. can you please let me know wat all software (quickpwn version is 2.2.5-2, bootloader, ispn) are needed before i start my process? i am unlocking for t-mobile usa.

wat firmware do u have u can ONLY use yellowsnow on a 3g with 2.2 firmware if u have the 2g use quikpwn and u will need bootloader files
iphone 3g 2.2 quikpwned

I have 2.2 firmware.
So i can use a quickpwn 2.2.5-2 version and then use the latest yellowsn0w avaialbale via cydia rite?
will i still be needing the ispw or the bootloader files?

if u have the 3g u dont need bootloader files and u can try quikpwn without the ispw but if after 30 secs it doesnt find the firmware u need to download it from an outside source
