Can someone tell me how to downgrade from 3.1.2 to 3.0 firmware.
I try a few times but keep geting an error.

For which device are you wanting to downgrade? 1G? 2G?

In order to downgrade successfully, you will need to use an older version of iTunes, version 8.2 I believe is the corresponding build to work alongside firmware 3.0. iTunes 9 will not allow you to downgrade as easily.

Uninstall iTunes 9 completely and delete any folders that may contain itunes information, you may want to move you "mobile applications" to another directory to keep you apps intact. Delete/uninstall Quicktime as well. Good luck!
