I have an 8 GB ipod touch, 1G, that is currently jailbroken to version 2.2
there is around 500 mb left of free space.

I want to jailbreak it to 2.2.1, but I don't want to format it....

Is this possible using quickpwn to update your firmware, without losing anything? I noticed it doesn't require formatting the ipod before going into the jailbreaking process.

Overall, is there a way to upgrade while not formatting the ipod?
