If anyone knows,

I have a 3GS, it was updated to 3.1, when geo released purplera1n I downgraded back to 3.0. I have used purplera1n since but needed to wipe my phone decided I would try redsn0w. Restored 3.0 and installed redsn0w. Phone rebooted and I didn't get any service or the phones been activated message. I have AT&T and don't need to unlock.

I went back to purplra1n and phones working again just wondering what the issue could be with redsn0w, I have had no problems with purplera1n just decided to try redsn0w for the hell of it.
