iPhone OS 3.0 Jailbreak

The beta 3 will only work on AT&T with or without the jailbreak. U need to turn off iTunes Internet connection. It then cannot check for whateva developer bs it tells u it need. It will work on iPods to.. Also if u do jailbreak uncheck the activate box in quickpwn. No jailbreak for mac, only pc.

That's not true it works WORLDWIDE not for AT&T only ... i am living in Saudi Arabia and I am using the Beta 3 with jailbreak and my iPhone 3G 8GB works fine and no problem only the Cellular Data Network is empty plus the WinterBoard, Cydia and Installer which is since the beginning of the Beta it really does not work at all. All Beta works worldwide ....

Thanks for all your input. I went ahead and got added by a Dev for the Betas. It sucked because I had to restore my phone. But this way I have it synced to my computer, not my girlfriend's. But since I have a PC and she has a Mac, I don't know if I can make my own ringtones on her Mac and be able to sync.

That's for me to find out. I appreciate all your suggestions. I should have gotten it done right the first time around....

I tried using Icy to DL new ringtones, etc. Winterboard installs. I opened that to set up my old Family Guy theme I had under the last OS. Going back into Icy and it just drops. So to me the jailbreak is the problem. I was able to make calls, send texts (but didn't figure out MMS). The phone worked great with the new landscape mode in e-mail, contacts, etc. All my apps were performing as they did before. No lag in time to perform tasks.

So I don't want to restore my phone again because I lost a ton of #'s, created ringtones via Garageband, and pictures. I am just going to run the jailbreak again but not touch Icy or Winterboard until someone tells me it works properly.

If there is a fix out there let me know. I will check the threads and see if I am doing something wrong. But my UDID was registered by a Dev so the Beta is legit. What I loved about the jailbreak is being able to make your phone your own with backgrounds, differnet icons, themes, battery icons, etc. Maybe it will work sometime......

Okay guys....

so my developer told me to upgrade using this o2 carrier file (UK ONLY!!!!)

and i can enable MMS etc, sending pictures is fine, however receving them is a different story, they all come out blury, etc....

the link has the file in, just do a shift and upgrade and it will install

Thanx for correcting me " luckyguy." Apple was smart enough to let other carriers in other countries use the iPhone standard with their network, for example t-mobile in Germany sell iPhones. The problem is if ya carrier is not meant for the phone no connection. A turbo sim will help if u can find one. My turbo sim company said wait for it. I need results now. I see someone gave the ok on winterboard. Wish me luck, I'm going in. Imobilecinema kinda work. I think the problem is Youtube not workin. It's missing a file or something. Add for all the people wasting money on developer junk.. It's FREE. Spell it with me " FREE." if this news makes u feel like u wasted money.. Good! It's suppose to. Many other member and I said, no matter if u got a pc or a Mac all downloads are if u use a torrent. As in any download you google, enter " torrent" last. Good luck.. Don't forget me on the Youtube help guys..

Anybody who has an iPhone which are Officialy Unlock and registered with the Developer team, they can have an access with the OS 3.0 on any beta version and upcoming beta's also and have the ability to jailbreak it also.

I believe as of this moment WinterBoard is still not available for OS 3.0 ... have installed ICY Installer3 (the package includes WinterBoard) V1.0 by SOSiPhone coz after installation the icon of WinterBoard appeared on SpringBoard and still the same my iphone went totally wrong all applications including the Apple Store and iTunes does not work at all so I have no choice but to restore again ...

I didn't try just activating yet but I'm about to.. I don't think to try Youtube after that.. But is that the problem with Youtube? Or is it that I'm not registering my phone? I'm in florida so Im suppose to use AT&T but I got t-mobile. I can't use iTunes to activate, I have to use quickpwn. There's a program called iutilities where u can fake the firmware and the 5H11 thing in the about iPhone setting. it will still run as the correct firmware. Basically it will activate if iTunes think u have version 2.2.1 or 2.2. Y'all get the picture.. Then you open iutilities again put in the correct info and you are done. I will take a look at the program and tell y'all exactly how u use it.

after upgrading to iPhone Beta 3, there is complete blank screen for APN setting, tried for 4 different network sims but no luck.

So i have my iphone upgraded to 3.0 beta 3 incl jailbrake and it works fine.
oke no mms and winterboard dont work but youtube working.
and winterboard will be update to 3.0 so just wait on it.
