if you want to jailbreak your ipod touch 2g then use redsn0w it is still in beta but is just like quickpwn ive done it to 4 different ipods no problem. theres a video on how to do it on youtube.

I have been using QuickFreedom and it works great! Springboard has crashed a few times, but it quickly comes back up. I say use it!
