URGENT... my ipod died, damn quickpwn
This is how it went down. I have 8gb ipod touch with 2.2.1 software installed. So off the quickpwn website I decided to dowload the program and jailbreak my ipod. Unfortunately, after the step where you press the buttons it began to send the information to my ipod the program wasn't responding so I had to force quit. Now my ipod screen is completely black, and I have tried all combinations of the two buttons to restart it.
I restarted the program but Quickpwn doesnt recognize it.
cliffnotes: Quickpwn crashed during jailbreak, black screen and wont turn on, quickpwn nor itunes recognzes my ipod.
PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME JUST RESTORE MY IPOD. I HOPE I DIDNT FUCK IT UP FOR GOOD. THANKS

Go to iTunes, connect your iPod to your computer, press simultaneously the home+power button, and iTunes should say that your iPod is in recovery mode, then click restore.
Tell me how it went.

works
exactly the same thing happened to me, but immediately after the button pushing process a window appeared prompting me to unhook my ipod and plug it back in, I hit OK, let it sit for at least 15min still connected assuming the program may have been more confused than I was. when the progress bar showed that transferal was complete, it kind of just sat there looking stupid, so I alt+apple+esc'd expecting to find quickpwn unresponsive, but when it wasn't I let it sit for another 5 for good measure before force quitting. after force quitting my story is pretty much the same.
ipod restored, but all my shit is gone... weak. at least it isn't bricked.

Don't work for me
I got this error when pressing the power and home button -->
USB Device Not Recognised. One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognised it.
How? Anyone can help?
