Ok everyone with a 2nd Gen iPod touch here is something you must have.

Well a case for starts but really what you need are iPhone headphones!
Or the Apple in-ear headphones

Why? "I have kickass headphones, and Apple ones suck!!"

Yes, but none of those come with mics that work on iPod touch 2nd Gen.

You can use like midomi (the best app for recording songs then telling you what is playing)

Or even iTalk (to just record your voice)

And best of all great apps like Truphone or Skpe (Fring)

Be Careful When choosing a case, Recently with my second Gen iPod, I had bought a case With a magnet Thats Just over The home button, Everytime i shut the case, My iPod Turned off and I had to Force Start it....

i got an incase ipod case it has two sides to it you just slide them together its just hard to get them apart

Yo man I wouldn't post it if it didn't work and I don't post what other people have said unless I test it out, trust it works but the in-ear are untested because I've never used them before. but I'll bet my iPhone they work!

Yeah i didn't say anything when I saw this because I'm thinking Apple would of got wind of that and maybe say something.

Well also the 2nd gen has speakers and is a little faster then the 1st gen. I still dont think its worth it tell its jailbreakable.
