Will QuickPwn 3.0 will make the same stuff as for old QuickPwn releases (Jailbreaking & Sim Unlock)? or should we wait the release of Ultrasn0w ?


1- If the only problem of QuickPwn is only that doesn't support the Itunes 8.2, i think this is NOT a big deal, since we can download the "Itunes 8.1", do the trick with the phone and sim unlocking then upgrade it back to 8.2, am i getting this right ?



2- Awaiting for the release of QuickPwn 3.0 or Ultrasn0w & since my OS is unlock but my Sim still locked, the question is: Can TurboSim be the temporary solution to get the sim unlocked ??



Am an owner of an Iphone 3G, upgraded into OS 3.0 & used the Redsn0w to jailbreak the phone, the steps was successful and the phone is unlock, still have the Sim locked out. For those who was wondering if the Redsn0w will work with the 3G, yes it is working just fine (as for the 3.0 firmware only, not the Sim unlocking)

Does anyone know if you have to have redsnow "Run as Administrator"? because my account is an administrator and I can't get it to work. I know how to get it into DFU mode. I've jailbroken before but this jailbreak just won't work. I've tried many times on my ipod and iphone. Both get hung up on "Waiting for reboot." Any ideas? please help.

right click on redsn0w.exe, run as administrator, and if that didnt also worked, and yr saying your facing this problem on yr computer with all ipod and iphone just do the trick on another computer. install itunes and plug yr device and do it, it should work, because i faced the same problem on my notebook and i switch and tried it on my work pc and it worked just fine and if you don't have another pc available, you should google for "remove your iphone drivers from you computer" and plug it again to recognize it as a new fresh device and install new USB drivers.

I know the update is out now and I'm new to all this jailbreaking thing what do I have to do? If I do something wromg will my iPhone die? Is there a way of undoing it if that does happen and where's the update I have to download please? If you could help I'd be so greatful, thanks.

Looking to upgrade to 3.0 due to airplane mode problems w/jb 2.2.. So I'm clear.. I need to:

1. Restore or Update (This is one of the areas unclear 2 me), my iPhone to ver 3.0
2. Run redsn0n ver 7.2
3. Turn off 3G
4. Connect to my wifi
5. Add ultrasn0w site to sources through Cydia
6. Install ultrasn0w

And everything should work right???
This is a business phone and can't afford to mess up..
Someone plz confirm this so I can sleep
