I got my Iphone 3G updated with 3.0 firmware. It work really great! I bought my iphone with $$ so I don't need to do anything to unlock it. Now just wait for the jailbreak!

how bout ipod touch 2g running on OS 3.0? will the newest release of QuickPWN be able to jailbreak my ipod touch 2g if i upgraded the FW to 3.0?

I had a jailbroken 2.2.1 iphone and I updated to the 3.0 software which went well, but now my jailbroken apps such as cydia, terminal etc are missing.
Are they still on the iphone taking up space and Would these come back if I jailbreak when the 3.0 jailbreak is released?
Or would I have to re-download all these after jailbreaking?

they are gone for evaaah! You have to reinstall when jailbreak is out.

Yes they will come back if you re-jailbrake it. you can only find the Terminal, Cydia, etc if you jailbroke your iphone.. if you upgrade the FW, Cydia, Terminal, etc will be uninstalled so technically it's gone.
