Is there a way to get iphone browser to work on this jailbreak? Every time i try, iphone browser crashes when trying to read, or does someone know where to go to get a program that will let you change the sms tones? And read other folders on the device.

I have two questions before i'm ready to commit to a firmware.
1. If I upgrade using 3.0 Beta, can I just jailbreak my iphone again to get back to 2.2.1?

2. (This is the stupid one) If I jailbreak my phone is there any way apple can tell if it was jail broken? I've read on other sites if you don't want to have a jailbroken phone to just restore your phone in itunes, but does that mean that apple cannot detect it?

hi there im from sweden and use the official operator Telia with iphone 3g
OS 3.0 beta 5.

the problem is:
when i used quickpwn, it installed all, cydia and so on.
but the only thing that dosnt work is my operator.
cant get calls or make them. have 0-bars.

i have restored it, so it isnt jailbroken anymore.

just wannet to report this problem

Since you have already restored your OS 3.0 Beta 5 .. then do the following:

Download QuickPwn Beta 5 from this site QuickPWN ...

Make sure that your iPhone has been activated first through iTunes before jailbreak ...

Jailbreak and while in the process of jailbreak make sure to UN-CHECK the 'Activate' in order to activate your carrier and just follow the instruction properly and you will be OK ... cheers
