But I didn't jailbreak, all applications using from Apple Store.

I checked many times like leaving iPhone fully charged at 12 midnight, there is no call only wi-fi on and morning at 7 AM (within 7 hours), 40~50% battery drains out.

There must be problem because of beta version????

I jailbroke My iPhone 3.0 beta 3 with quickpwn beta 3. Also added cydia and mobile substrate. Everything works 1000%. I have yet to check winterboard and imobilecinema but cydia still don't work. Icy does so who cares. I use my phone as an iPod and Youtube don't work. Anyone got input on the subject?

I have an unlocked iphone 2g(1st generation) running tmobile im planning on updating it to 3.0 beta 3. i know that 3.0 beta 2 you cant unlock it through quickpwn does anyone know if it will unlock 3.0 beta 3

I installed 3.0 Beta 3 and jailbroke my phone. It came up working fine. Then I tried to use Winterboard after DL themes, etc from Icy. I didn't realize that Winterboard wasn't working. Then I went to open up Icy and it would just flash and not open. I decided that turning off/on my phone would maybe help. Now all I see on my screen is the Apple icon. It will stay up for about 5-10 mins, then shut off and turn back on and go through the same s**t.

Do I need to jailbreak my phone again? Everything seemed to be working (except I didn't make a call....HAHA). Any suggestions besides using QuickPWN? Once I get my phone working how can I get to use all the themes, ringtones, etc from Icy? I've never used it before and I don't see the Installer icon (which I believe is for Cydia).

9:14 pm EST - I rejailbroke my phone and I am still getting the Apple Logo. I can shut off my phone but it never gets past the logo screen.

You can jailbreak back to any firmware using jailbreak. Just ignore iTunes error code and start quickpwn. Quickpwn has beta 3 jailbreak " helpneeded." I'm not brave enough to try winterboard, but if you add cydia and mobile substrate.. the icy apps like xgps work. If u just jailbreak the icy apps won't work. U can even try just mobile substrate add icy might work. And for anyone with AT&T, that use iTunes to activate their phone will get Youtube working 1000%. I use t- mobile because they have better service, so untill the real update.. any " non AT&T" iPhone users know how to fix Youtube?

I got it working except for the phone. I changed the SystemVersion.plist so it would not come up as a Beta. I rebooted the phone and now it's hanging up again on the Apple logo. The mistake I made when I first loaded it was having my PC still connected to the internet. It said that I needed to be registered as a Dev. That's why I tried the SystemVersion.plist change. It was one of several ways of getting your phone to work.

Icy was still not starting. How do you get mobile substrate? I am going to reinstall the OS again to get the phone working. Let's hope it works!

11:43 pm EST - Going back to the current OS. I changed the code so it would not come up as a beta. Then I tried to use Iutilities. But it does not work. Now I can't go back to the previous version. I am trying now something I found with says to use iTunes and upload the previous version, then jailbreak it again.......This was a mistake. It will be released in a few months......

ok ever since i update to beta 3 now my visual voicemail, or any voicemail will not work.
ive searched everywhere and can not figure how to get it working again.
even when i dial my own number it just connects then hangs up

The beta 3 will only work on AT&T with or without the jailbreak. U need to turn off iTunes Internet connection. It then cannot check for whateva developer bs it tells u it need. It will work on iPods to.. Also if u do jailbreak uncheck the activate box in quickpwn. No jailbreak for mac, only pc.
