3.0 jailbreak and restore!!

hi guys.. i own an iphone 3g, running 3.0.. i had jailbroken it using redsnow.. i have since restored it back to 3.0 since i was facing a lot of issues.. app crashes mainly..

do youll face them too? also i couldnt use the appsync for 3.0 it kept giving some stupid error.. i lost my patience and came back to the original firmware.. want to know how your phones are behaving since the jailbreak..

also i own a gameshark bluetooth headset.. my phone doesnt search it.. i knwo it isnt compatible, is there any way i can get too pair my phone with this headset?

My iPhone has been doing really well since I JB 3.0... The only issue I had was with apt backup - which was supposed to back up my cydia installed apps but did not deliver... Other than that I have had no issues with apps crashing, no syncing issues... What method did you use? I used a modified firmware that was posted on here - I just did a shift restore to find it on the hard drive. I have to admit I was leery of using redsn0w.

By any chance did you load ICY when you used redsn0w? We found it caused problems on my grandson's 3G. Once we removed it and rejailbroke and unlocked again - it has been fine.

While in the process of jailbreak .. do not install Icy BUT after jailbreak, you can install Icy using Cydia as Cydia was behaving like a crazy recently ... Icy is working well ... for me .. Cydia is crashing most of the time and Icy is working properly ... am not sure what is the reason it crashes mostly ...

Seems to be a lot of crashing going on with Cydia recently..... I thought perhaps it was due to apps not being updated to work with 3.0 .. .but perhaps there is some other issue at this time.....

What will I lose if I restore my ipod touch and will the jailbreak be gone after I restore? I want... in the web browser/Most apps. Yes you can restore your iPod to the original settings if you don't like the jailbreak. I have jailbroken a few iPods and know many people that have jailbroken
