Think about RESALE, no one ever does but the better your phone looks the more likely you can sell it to buy the next iphone!
Cycle the battery fully as often as possible! Just cause it says low battery doesn't mean plug it in right away!
The Invisible shields make the phones thicker so think about that before buying a case and getting it stuck on!
The basic Silicone cases are over-rated for the Iphone, my recommendation if you want to buy one is the OTTERBOX Impact series which has re-enforced corners! I've seen to many people drop them in regular silicone cases and the screen crack!
I prefer the hard shields because usually on impact the case splits open transferring all of the blunt force and minimizing shock to the phone.

I totally agree, clean out the dust and lint, even if you have a rubber case, the dust and such can scratch the back. I learn that lesson with my IPod. I bought a soft sided case for it, one that goes on ur arm. I think I waited about 2 weeks before I cleaned it the first time, I waited too long.
Little tiny scuff marks on the back of it.

I was so upset with my self.
Now, I think I might being going to the extreme with my IPhone, but I hate scuff marks.
The first couple days I went to work I didn't take my phone with me, (my job requires me to work out side)
After I got my case, I still didn't put the phone into anything, (bag, pocket, ect...)
I was waiting for the screen protectors to arrive. I'm so glad I waited, if I look real close at the screen protector, I can see little tiny scuff marks on it.
Now this is where I might be getting a little extreme. I have even bought a cheap used $20.00 go phone to put my simm into.

If it might rain that day, or it has already rained and it's muddy outside, I really don't want some thing stupid happening to my IPhone.
