Hey all i'm back after a long time without an iphone after my old 3gs saw its doom with a car door. (back when it was 3.0)

i know this is prolly posted everywhere but I have very limited time the next few days to sit down and search so I hope someone will show some kindness that I have shown others back when I my 1st 3gs and answer questions that were already posted places.

back with 3.0 I used purplera1n and I grabbed the ibec/ibss files outta the temp folder.

This new one had 3.1 so I updated to 3.1.2 and grabbed the ibec/ibss files again which I assume still need to be kept?

Now I assume after this I just run blackra1n and go about the usual?

Ok i used blackra1n all is good and had cydia store the hashes.
I am still keeping the ibec/ibss files safe I assume they still needed or is that the point of the cache server?
If so would furture release talk to the cache server b4 its able to jb?
