I've often wondered about this. Since the iPod Touch can charge from any old PC USB port when the data connection is active, I can only assume that what's behind the "Charging is not supported" message is just a software check of some kind.
Can someone in the jailbreak scene track it down? Or maybe it's too low level for you? |
