Just Jailbroken Ipod Touch 2g need serious help!

hello i just successfully jailbroke my ipod touch 2g using quickfreedom. it all went smoothly and as i was eager to get started i found out i my wifi would not work.

i have successfully joined my network and the signal bars are in the top left of my ipod however both safari and Cydia claim i am not connected?

I know this wifi works as i was using it earlier today on the exact same ipod before i jailbroke it!!

PLEASE help i dont want to have to go back to a normal ipod and suffer being a legit apple customer!

for anyone else who is having this problem, all you need to do is restore the ipod to the apple firmware then rejailbreak it.
fixed it for me
