I finally found out how to add the new carrier update without having to mess up the Jailbreak for my 3G, 3.01.

I had tried updating just loading the IPCC file but kept getting an error. I found a thread on a forum that indicated if you deleted any carrier logo you had downloaded with Cydia - that would solve the issue. And it did. I was able to load the updated AT&T software.

However, I don't have MMS working yet. I do not have "Cellular Data Network" in General/Network. I saw some posts that indicated perhaps resetting network settings is the key. Can anyone confirm that is correct? I was thinking because I do not have "unlimited texting" on my plan I may not have access to this feature.

The SMS app does have the camera now.

Well, I finally did get the "Cellular Data Network" - had to add a couple lines to ATT_US.bundle/carrier plist. That did allow it to show up. I was able to put the settings in ....however, I still can't send MMS. I think I just had a "blinding flash of the obvious" after reading a few post in some other forums....I think my 2G is still the phone registered with AT&T - not my 3G.
