    Cool Very interesting problem

I have an 16gb IPhone 3g that I got just before Christmas and used quickPWN to jailbreak it not long after I got it and was really enjoying the freedom. I found and installed many programs from the Cyndia installer on that was called "folders" or something like that. I used that program to organize my apps into different folders which made it easier for me to find different things. Everything was going great until my silent switch broke off and I went to the local Apple store and made an appointment with a genius to fix it. They gave me a new phone which was nice, but of course it was not jail broken. I brought it home and restored it which was great. I wanted to re-jailbreak (or in this case jailbreak for the first time) this phone to no avail. Every time I tried it would lock up and not work. Anyway, I just figured that I would wait until 3.0 and go from there. The problem comes in when I have apps that were in folders on my previous jailbroken Iphone they just disappear from my iphone, but my iphone thinks that they are still there. That is what makes me think that this has something to do with the folder app. So my question is this: how can I get rid of the after effects of this program that apparently my ITunes backed up and restored to my new IPhone that for some reason I can't get Jailbroken therefore I can't install the folder app. The only way that I can get these apps back is to delete them from ITunes, sync my IPhone then reinstall them. They last for about a day or so before they just disappear from the screen. They are still listed in ITunes as being installed and if I go into my settings on my phone they are listed there as well. Anyway I know this is a long winded question, but very frustrating for me. If anyone has any ideas to either Jailbreak this crazy thing (2.2.1) or just get rid of the left overs from the folder app I would really appreciate it!
