jailbroken iphone 3g....tried to upgrade b4 restored...HELP, Posted 06-30-2009, 06:58 PM #1 (permalink)
Please help me! My iphone is stuck with a pic of the usb cable and itunes above it. I jailbroke my phone and didnt restore it before trying to upgrade using itunes 8.2. I got itunes to go through extraction and restoring and it shows that i have the 3.0 software but then it wont show my iphone in itunes after that......what do i need to do?

you need to upgrade to itunes 8.2 and then run redsn0w to jailbreak it, it should allow your phone to show up in itunes then... if not, then put the phone in DFU mode, and restore it again. And make sure that you have itunes 8.2
