First of, I would like to say that this app is by far my favorite. Right when I downloaded this app onto my ipod touch 2g, I immediately sunk into the game and was playing for hours until my ipod was close to running out of battery and I had to force myself to stop or else I would lose all the records that I had achieved.
It is very close to the game Tap Defense, but I feel that the graphics are much better on Fieldrunners. You first start off with about $15 that you can spend on machinery to defeat the "fieldrunners" that are trying to get to the opposite side and into your castle-like building. As you defeat more and more fieldrunners, you are able to buy bigger and better machinery and you can also upgrade the machinery you already have up to its highest level. It is very addicting and the levels just keep going on and on, so you won't have to stop after a long time. It goes for $4.99 in the iTunes app store.
