$1.5 million in iPads stolen from JFK

Written by quickpwn

Looks like someone couldn’t wait to get their hands on Apple’s new iPad minis. On Monday, around midnight crooks used one of JFK’s own forklifts to load two pallets of Apple’s iPad minis into a truck. They would have gotten away with three more pallets, but an airport worker was returning from dinner, so they had to leave it behind.

Sources are telling the New York Post that investigators have suspected that this may have been an inside job. Airport workers are being questioned and given polygraph tests.

Around 3,600 iPad minis were being shipped by a company called Cargo Airport Services. These iPad minis had arrived from China and were scheduled to be delivered to locations around the US.
