Apple has released the new iOS 4.0.1 download for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 3G users. If you want to jailbreak iOS 4.0.1 and unlock iOS 4.0.1, you may want to stay away from this update for now. This update should resolve any reception issues iPhone users were having with the iOS 4 software.

How can I install the 4.0.1 through itunes? I only have to shift-click on the iPhone2,1_4.0.1_8A306_Restore.ipsw? When i do it, my itunes open. and at that moment if i click on “restore” itunes want to restore my iphone with updating to the latest firmware, so the 4.1 update. thanks
