Apple Quarter 3 2010 Earnings Up 78%: Record Apple Earnings

Incredible (no, not the Droid Incredible). That’s what I thought when I saw a recent press release by Apple stating that they have reached their all time revenue record in the last 3 months. Apple earnings reached a profit of $15.7 billion in Quarter 3 of 2010.

3.47 million Macs were sold, 8.4 million iPhones, 9.41 million iPods, and 3.27 million iPads. It’s good to see Apple showing all these numbers. Apple really deserves this because of all the innovative things they do with their products.

This particular section from the Apple press release caught my attention: “It was a phenomenal quarter that exceeded our expectations all around, including the most successful product launch in Apple’s history with iPhone 4,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “iPad is off to a terrific start, more people are buying Macs than ever before, and we have amazing new products still to come this year.” Apple has announced they will have more products coming this year. Does that mean that there will be a new iPod touch 4G with camera? Rumors of that are strong, about this so we will have to just wait and see if it actually happens.
