Apple iPhone 4G coming to Walmart on June 24
Apple iPhone 4G phone is coming to Walmart on June 24, according to an article on CNet. Apple announced the iPhone 4 during the WWDC 2010 conference earlier this week. Apple fans now have another alternative to buy an iPhone 4 on June 24th.
Apple iPhone 4G has a front facing camera with VGA quality, which allows iPhone 4 users to video chat with each other over WiFi only. The iPhone 4G also has a retina display, which allows it to have a higher screen resolution. A 5 mega-pixel camera on the back of the iPhone 4G allows it to take high definition photos or videos. The iOS 4.0 software is also included with the iPhone, and it allows multi-tasking with a lot of other features.
Apple will also allow pre-orders for the iPhone 4G starting Tuesday, June 15. Walmart won’t be offering any pre-order for the iPhone 4G.

WHY…… WHY do people keep calling it iPhone 4G where it’s NOT.. Apple had their big party and it’s the iPhone 4 PERIOD… No G… Maybe in 2011 when AT&T actually has a 4G network it will evolve into the 4G but for now?????? A good week later people still want to call it the iPhone 4G……
4th generation meatball
it is the iphone 4g, but the meaning is that it is the fourth generation iphone not that it runs on the 4g network
4g is 4th generation, 4G is 4G network. It’s okay to use 4g, but not to use 4G. But really, did we call the iPhone 3GS “iPhone 3g”? And the iPhone 3G, we didn’t call that the “iPhone 2g”. So just call it what Apple NAMED IT!!!
iPhone 4
That’s all.
I understand 4th Generation… But Apple has called it the iPhone 4…. This article even says “iPhone 4G is coming to Walmart” no where on the box or in any Apple promo will 4G be found. YES, it’s the 4th generation phone but that is NOT what the phone is called. 4G will confuse people into thinking it runs on a 4G network. I all ready have 2 friends who have said “AT&T has a 4G network for the iPhone.” because of articles like this… They called their second iPhone the 3G and then 3GS.. Their second iPhone was a “2nd Generation” phone but they called it the 3G because of the network it ran on vs Edge and then their 3rd generation phone was called the 3GS so don’t tell me 4G is 4th Generation since Apple has not used any consistant method to their madness….
4G means 4th Generation, so yes 4G, not saying it is the 4G network
Explain why the 2nd Generation iPhone was the 3G and the 3rd Generation iPhone was the 3GS?
Yes 4G means 4th generation but when your talking about a phone it only means 4th generation network, not number in models so please use the term wisely and do not confuse the consumer Kh.
