Verizon Customers Want iPhone 4G, Release Date Delayed

A recent study has shown us that Verizon Wireless customers hope the iPhone-to-Verizon change happens this year. Unfortunately, this may not be the year of the Verizon iPhone.
There are three things that lead me to believe we may not see the iPhone 4G launching on Verizon this year. One is that the leaked iPhone 4G prototype had a micro-sim in it which means that specific model does not support Verizon. Second is the fact that Verizon did not have any deal with Apple on the iPad 3G, why should we expect them to have one with the iPhone this year? Third fact is that a Wall Street Analyst, Brian Marshall says that Apple and AT&T may have had an agreement with the iPad 3G which extended their exclusivity.
The Worldwide Developer Conference is the event where Apple is going to be announcing their new products. While we don’t know exactly what Apple has in store for us, we do know that Apple will announce the following new products:
- iPhone OS 4.0 software for iPhone 4G, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 3G. Currently developers are beta testing this, and it’s in it’s third beta.
- The iPhone 4G or iPhone fourth generation. From the leaked online photos, we know that it has a front facing camera.
