Spirit failed to jailbreak (error code: c0000005)
While using the Spirit Jailbreak software I got the Spirit Failed to jailbreak (error code: c0000005) error message, as you can see in the screenshot above. I’m using an iPad WiFi, without 3G and a Windows 7 operating system. To fix this error message download iPhone tool bar from the Spirit Jailbreak download post, click Downloads and follow the fix instructions there.
The Spirit jailbreak is an untethered jailbreak, and should be working with the iPad 3.2, iPhone 3.1.3, and iPod touch 3.1.3. It is a userland jailbreak which Apple can patch really fast, so if you haven’t downloaded it already you should before it’s too late.
Update: The issue has been resolved, thanks to jayboy110 for e-mailing the solution to us.

Got the same message on a 3GS with 3.1.3 on Win 7 64 bit. No idea what to do…
save Spirit on Desktop and launch it as administrator!!!!! :)
StevieD If your having problems on your 3gs just use sn0wbreeze that’s what I did and it worked fine. It just installs cydia so if you also want Rock then just go to cydia and download it from there.
just right click it, go to properties, compability, and run it Windows 98 compability mode. :)
