Verizon iPhone release date, WWDC 2010, and iPhone 4G
Verizon iPhone release date, WWDC 2010, and iPhone 4G are what many iPhone fans are looking forward to this year. Thanks to the Gizmodo iPhone 4G hardware prototype leak and photo gallery, most of the surprise is ruined for us.
Let us start off with the Verizon iPhone release date information. Firstly, analysts estimate that Apple is launching a Verizon iPhone this year. Then again, analysts estimated that back in 2008 and that didn’t happen either, so I’m still skeptical. If Apple launches a Verizon iPhone this year, it would need to work on Verizon’s CDMA network, because Verizon’s 4G network won’t be out until 2011.
WWDC 2010 was announced by Apple just today, and an e-mail was sent to all developers. The World Wide Developers Conference will take place from June 7 to June 11. More than 5,000 Apple engineers and leading developers will be there, so if you’re a developer you won’t want to miss this event. What’s really important about this event is that Apple will also be announcing the new iPhone 4G and the iPhone OS 4.0 software.
The new iPhone 4G has a front facing camera, and we know this because of the leaked iPhone 4G photo that a Gizmodo blogger posted. With the front facing camera, users can video chat and even use it with the social gaming center app which Apple added in the new iPhone operating system.
