Verizon iPhone release date, new iPhone 4G, and iPhone OS 4.0 download
The photo above is the new iPhone 4G hardware prototype with Apple’s new iPhone 4.0 software. The Verizon iPhone release date could be as early as June 2010, or 2011. An article on The Wall Street Journal suggests that Apple will launch a Verizon iPhone with a CDMA chip and a separate new iPhone 4G with iPhone OS 4.0 download this summer.
The new iPhone 4G pictures that were leaked were actually posted by a popular tech blog, Gizmodo. Gizmodo had to return the iPhone 4G prototype to Apple because they got a legal notice form them. The new iPhone 4G has a front facing camera and a micro-sim slot. iPhone OS 4.0 software included in the new iPhone will support video chat, and multi-tasking.

No CDMA iphone. The chip set in the 4G iphone are GSM only.
CDMA will not support voice and data at the same time.

actually cdma CAN do voice and data at the same time. i have had metro pcs since day 1 of the company and have been able to do both for a long time, i had a nokia 6265i that did it wothout any problem back in 2006, still have no problem. people, dont post your stupid assumptions anywhere unless u know the FACTS, not some b.s your friend probably told you! remember “google is your friend”
