Verizon iPhone Release date and new iPhone 4G update 4.0
Verizon iPhone release date, WWDC 2010, and iPhone 4G are what many iPhone or Apple fans are looking forward to in 2010. Due to Gizmodo’s iPhone 4G hardware prototype leak and photo gallery with video of the new iPhone in action, most of the surprise is ruined for us.
Firstly, lets check the Verizon iPhone release date information. Analysts are estimating that Apple is launching a Verizon iPhone this year. In 2008 they estimated this as well, but they were wrong so don’t get your hopes up because there may not be a Verizon iPhone this year. If Apple releases a Verizon iPhone on Verizon this year, it would need to work on Verizon’s CDMA network. Verizon’s 4G network won’t be out until 2011.
Yesterday Apple sent out an e-mail to all developers with the WWDC announcement. The World Wide Developers Conference will take place from June 7 to June 11. More than 5,000 Apple engineers and leading developers will be there, so you may want to look in to joining this event if you’re a developer. Tickets are $1,599 and the event will take place in San Francisco. The new iPhone 4G with iPhone OS 4.0 is expected to be announced during this event.
Thanks to the Gizmodo iPhone 4G hardware prototype leak, we know that the new iPhone 4G has a front facing camera and a higher resolution screen.
Developers found a code in the new iPhone 4.0 SDK that indicates that video chat will be possible in the iPhone 4G with the new iPhone OS 4.0 software. Users will also be able to video chat through the social gaming center application. This will bring gaming to a whole new level.
The Adobe Flash Player plugin will still not be supported on Apple’s new iPhone 4G because Apple wants developers to switch to using HTML 5 instead. According to Jobs, Flash is not meant for the mobile space and it’s not as open as HTML 5.
