Verizon iPhone 4G with new iPhone 4.0 next year?

The new iPhone 4G prototype above reveals that there is a micro sim. That means this specific iPhone 4G prototype won’t come on Verizon, so we may not be seeing a Verizon iPhone with iPhone 4.0 software this year. I’m still hopeful about Apple launching a Verizon iPhone, so I’ll be waiting until June to decide whether or not I want to renew my AT&T contract.

If there is no Verizon iPhone 4G this year, it is very likely that Apple will launch it on Verizon next year because Verizon’s 4G or LTE network will be out by then. Sprint also has their 4G network, so they may get the iPhone as well . Lets hope Apple plays it smart and launches the iPhone on multiple carriers rather than just sticking to AT&T.
