The new iPhone 4G smartphone prototype hardware and iPhone 4.0 software photo is above this text. The blog that leaked this new iPhone and posted pictures and a video of it online is Gizmoo. The Verizon iPhone is rumored to launch in June, but the iPhone 4G phone Gizmodo received does not support Verizon. There may not be a Verizon iPhone until 2011.

The new iPhone that Gizmodo leaked got their blogger in trouble. The blogger had his house raided last night, and his computer and servers were taken away from him. According to Gawker, the search warrant the law enforcement had was invalid because of a certain code.

To the Engineer Who Left a Prototype of the New iPhone on a Bar Stool

Outside the plate glass at the beer garden where
girls jogged in pairs and younger guys
    did sidewinders on skateboards,
you forgot an iPhone on a bar stool
and handed over the prototype on a platter of buffalo wings
with hot dipping sauce and too many mugs of beer.

All over the Internet, cheers about the number of pixels,
four times as many as the previous model
plus a second camera for video calling,
an aluminum trim closing off the border.

Leaf-blowers are still whining about it.
    Tough break, engineer.
If we lived in a country without memory
nothing could be lost or found or shared.
