New iPhone: 3 reasons to get iPhone 4G or iPhone HD

new iPhone 4G or iPhone HDThe photo above was taken by Gizmodo, and it's a real iPhone 4G prototype. This post will list the three main reasons someone would want to get the new iPhone 4G or iPhone HD. The new iPhone will have iPhone 4.0 software, and will purportedly be released in June.

1. iPhone OS 4.0

The new iPhone will be running iPhone OS 4.0 software. This means you get multi-tasking and a lot more new features like the social games application. You can finally listen to Pandora while browsing the web, or receive calls from Skype while not having the app open. You can also customize your theme, and create different categories for your apps.

2. Front facing camera on new iPhone

Th front facing camera on the new iPhone will allow you to easily record videos of yourself for video blogging, and most importantly it will allow you to have video chats with others. This is going to be a real game changer. I'm sure Skype would be adding support for video chat on the iPhone once the new iPhone 4G is out.

3. HD Screen

Gimodo reported that the iPhone prototype they saw had a better screen resolution than the iPhone 3GS. They are also saying that the new screen has a 920 x 640 pixels resolution.

Reason 4: it's an iPhone and it has a large processor. This is key when multitasking and video chatting

Wise words of wisdom there Alan but perhaps you should either get a job or get your butt back to university rather than sponging off your mother and I during your "Year Out!"

If we didn't have you to support, we would be able to buy things like the 4G.

Can anyone tell me how to close an app rather than it going into the background mode ?
The norm is to press the home button to close it.
How would you close it with OS 4.0 as it appears that now when you would close it, it just sits in the background, you then double tap then press and hold it to close it?
Surely not ?

on your multitasking thing about iPhone OS 3.2 it actually takes longer to close then you think...like safari for instance actually takes about 2-30 minutes to close itself depending on things. I have noticed this when i have installed SBSetting (which allows app killing) iPod has does the same thing along with the Mail! Thats why for ppl like me that cant afford the iPhone to slow down we have SBSettings to quickly get things done. You can either use SBSettings or you can restart your iPhone after everytime that you are finished with Safari unless you are not doing anything else on your iPhone at that time then it will eventually close itself off. Its lil things like that which makes people always wanting to jailbreak there iPhones.
