iPod touch 4G prototype shows up on eBay, following iPhone 4G leak
The iPhone 4G prototype hardware with iPhone 4.0 software was leaked to popular tech blog Gizmodo. It was confirmed to be real, thanks to Apple sending Gizmodo a legal notice and retrieving the iPhone 4G from them. Now an iPod touch 4G listing with a camera on the back was recently spotted on eBay (item no. 250617991364) and then removed without any reason.
Earlier this year rumors of the iPod touch getting a camera were really strong, but when Apple launched the new iPod touch in September there was no camera and many Apple fans were disappointed. New iPod touch releases are usually in September, so we won’t find out whether or not Apple has added a camera in the iPod touch for at least 4 months.

I know someone whose uncle works at apple. For his birthday he got an iPod touch generation 6. He showed it to me and it does not have a camera. But it uses Bluetooth to generate an artificial 3g. Also it has phone on it ( the plan does not have many minutes, no texting and you need a mic.

this isnt going to be the next ipod touch. If there going to change the exterior of the iphone 4g (http://gizmodo.com/5520164/this-is-apples-next-iphone) then why wouldn’t they change the shape for the itouch.

yea you cant believe any picture on the intenet- its called Photoshop. and i saw a picture like this before the 2nd gen itouch was released claiming the same thing “2nd Gen ipod touch to have built-in camera”. so get real- the itouch will never have a camera. and why do we need a camera on an ipod anyway? i mean we all have cell phones and digital cameras… and a basic fact is, the smaller and cheaper camera is, the more it sucks.
