iPhone OS 4.0 jailbreak already done for iPhone 3G

iPhone OS 4.0 jailbreak

Apple just released iPhone OS 4.0 beta software to iPhone developers today, and it's already been jailbroken. iPhone hacker iH8sn0w claims to have already performed an iPhone OS 4.0 jailbreak for his iPhone 3GS. He has also posted the keys here, and says he will be releasing a jailbreak for iPhone 4.0 beta.

We can jailbreak iPhone 4.0 now, but it's still in beta and Apple may be able to patch the exploit the other teams are holding on to if they release their untethered jailbreak.

Update: I misinterpreted iH8sn0w's tweet, he's actually working on the iPhone 4.0 beta jailbreak and plans on releasing it.

So I am curious, I have a 3Gs with a early bootrom (i bought in the first two weeks it was out) and I am at an official 4.0 beta 1 release. Is there anyway to jailbreak (at 3.1.2, 3.1.3 or 4.0) I would really like to be able to tether to my iPad, thats the only reason.
