Apple is Now Accepting iPad Apps for iPad App Store

Developers, listen up! The iPad will be shipping soon (on April 3 to be exact) and Apple is now accepting iPad apps for the iPad App Store. You have until Saturday, March 27 to submit your iPad app for review. You must build and test your apps using iPhone SDK 3.2 beta 5. Once you’ve submitted your iPad app through iTunes Connect, the App Review Team will review it and you will receive additional information for submitting your app for final review.

Apple already supports most iPhone apps on the iPad, but they’ve also created a separate section for apps made specifcally for the iPad and named it the iPad App Store. The iPad App Store will have it’s grand opening on April 3, when the iPad is officially released. Right now is the best time for serious developers to submit their apps to the iPad App Store.
