I just restored my iPhone, but now its asking to insert Sim Card to activate the phone. Is there a way to bypass this?

iPhone – 3G 8Gb
Fireware – 3.1.3

Can I somehow back it on 3.0 or something else,please HELP needed!!!

I have tried to use the original service providers Sim, and when I plug it into iTunes, it still says the Sim card is compatible.

i have the iphone 3g, it was jailbroken til i updated to 3.1.3 like a fool. i put an O2-UK sim in it to activate it, i dont get no ‘Searching’, ‘No Service’ or any of that kinda bull, it shows the carrier ‘O2-UK’ but no reception. do i have to wait for a new jailbreak tool, if not please suggest what i can do… please suggest
