Nexus One phone being advertised on Google

The Nexus One phone that Google released yesterday is being advertised on the main homepage of http://www.google.com. If you go to Google you will notice the above screenshot with an icon for the Nexus One phone and the “Experience Nexus One, the new Android phone from Google” ad. This is a pretty smart move by Google as they normally have no ads on the homepage and this will catch the attention of a lot of people.

The Nexus One is currently available on T-Mobile. A Verizon Wireless Nexus One phone will be available to purchase in Spring 2010. See my Everything about Nexus One post for more information on the Nexus One.
